PROFILE
TOSHIMITSU KUMAKI こと熊木敏光は幼いころからギター、ピアノ、作曲などを始め、数々のコンサート活動を行う。その後Aucklandや英国Liverpoolなどへの留学を経て、2001年に帰国しプロとして活動を本格的にスタートする。
作曲家として映画音楽、歌手への楽曲プロデュース、CMやイベント音楽プロデュース。自身の活動でTVやラジオに出演、全国をまわる。またギタリストとしても色々なセッション、ライブ、レコーディングやTV番組に参加し数々のアーティストと共演。
2008年ファーストシングルをクラブマーケットへアナログ１２インチで発売するも、４００枚を完売、クラブ系レコード店のハウスチャートで上位を獲得。計３枚のアナログ１２インチをリリース後、2009年11月、ファーストアルバム『COSMIC WANDERER』を発売。ジャミロクワイのキーボーディストのマット・ジョンソンや４人のヴォーカリストが参加した本作は、外資系レコード店を中心に試聴機などで取り上げられ、スマッシュヒットとなる。
2011年５月待望の４thシングル「FORBIDDEN COLOURS」を発売。シングルの発売に合わせライヴバンドとして活動もスタートした。
This 26 year old composer, arranger, guitarist, pianist and programmer has filled his life with the irresistible magic of music and its youthfully impetuous rhythm. He began to play the piano at the age of 3 and in his first years performed on many stages as a member of a chorus group.
When he was 13, he became interested in playing the guitar. Since then his life has been like a melodical rainbow full of various genres of music, with jazz holding a special place in his heart.
Auckland, England and Tokyo have witnessed his rising success. This promising composer has composed music for many singers, movies, CMs, shows and events. In half a year he has toured Japan with his concerts and has taken part in many radio programs and TV shows. As a guitarist he has worked on recording projects and TV shows with many musicians and bands.

Finally, in August 2008, he released his 1st EP - "COSMIC WANDERER".
In February 2009, the 2nd EP - "WHISPERS TO YOU".
In November 2009, the 3d EP - "BRIGHT SHINY DAY featuring Matt Johnson".
And on the 25th of November 2009 he is going to release his 1st full album CD - "COSMIC WANDERER".
He has featured his friend Matt Johnson, the great keyboardist from Jamiroquai, for his 3d LP "BRIGHT SHINY DAY" (He has collaborated on 2 songs from the album).
Frances Maya from the label PRAVDA of Kei Kobayashi (Routine Jazz) has joined as the vocalist.
